Del Norte County (DNC) Child Protection Services (CPS) has violated numerous inherent and aprotected rights of my family and myself. CPS has committed numerous documented and prosecutable felony crimes against my family and myself. Will the Sheriff take a report? No. Allegations and report were made by our 17 year old daughter after she punched me in the nose and head until I was unconscious, while I was immobilized by her grandmother. She then attacked my husband twice, and once while in possession of a deadly weapon, later that evening. Our daughter did the same thing last year: beat me up, reported me a a "child abuser." I was arrested for felony child abuse for the injuries our daughter got while attacking and injurring my husband. Does the term "self-inflicted" mean anything to you? CPS agent, Susan Wilson, solicited me to sign a voluntary foster care agreement contract while I was in jail, under duress, with untreated facial and head injuries, a concussion, had been locked in a freezing toilet "holding cell" for about four hours. She totally misrepresented the contract, its terms, exclusions, etc. Nevertheless, I did think my family was safer with my daughter out of the house. I was released with no explanation and no paperwork, except a property booking sheet, after 8 hours. I was never prosecuted. I was never found guilty of anything. I have never committed child abuse at any time, on any one. DNC CPS has never interviewed or contacted any of the other five known witnesses to this purported "child abuse." CPS possessed and knew of a preponderance of verified and credible evidence and witnesses and their sworn testimony that I was innocent of my mean little daughter's uncorroborated, unsubstantiated, allegations of child abuse. CPS' Susan Wilson, fraudulently put my name on the California Department of Justice Child Abuse Central Index (doj caci) as a "substantiated child abuser." I appealed this decision 3 times and urged CPS and DNC DHSS to investigate further. Albert Raddi and Gary Blatnick refused my appeals, did no investigation at any time , continued to ignore overwhelming evidence, referred to the felony child abuse charge I was initially detained on as though I had been prosecuted and found guilty of that crime, used my daughter's unsubstantiated, uncorraborrated, and suspicious, allegations in that reports as evidence of proof of my child abuse of her. After the first denial, they devolved into merely referring to the previous denial as rational for their most current denial. These people couldn't pull their heads out of their bung holes with a heavy duty excavator. Now DNC CPS and the County Council attorney claimed I had no recourse except a judicial review. CA DOJ says they're wrong. The reporting agency must remove any citizen's name from the list whenever the reporting agency becomes aware of exculpatory evidence, or that it is unlikely child abuse occurred, or when presented with evidence showing factual innocence of the accused. This fraudulent doj caci listing severely, permanently, and unfairly, impacts my ability to seek and gain employment, and restricts me from actively participating in my younger kids' schooling for the next 13 years. CPS placed my child with foster parents who called me up and threatened me and my family ( isn't this a criminal felony?). I complained. CPS did nothing. I asked CPS to move my daughter out of that foster home. They did...nothing. The foster father made public threats against me and then called local officials and told them I was a danger to someone's life (isn't this a criminal felony too?). He had no known reason for doing this, except possibly revenge for my complaints about his previous threats to me. I complained to CPS and the Sheriff's Department about his actions. They did....come on, go ahead and guess... nothing. I, however, was chastized and deprived of parental rights for "causing problems" by having the sheriff go talk to the psychotic foster father. Yep, shame on me, trying to protect my own rights. How dare I mention that some foster parent psycho had committed a couple of felony offenses against me. When will I ever learn my place in society? Tsk, tsk. I find out that the psycho foster father (who works at a prison) was doing all sorts of strange things; like trying to take my daughter to Atlanta, Georgia, for a "convention," without his wife or anyone else going along, having sleepovers at his house for the grandma that held me while the daughter punched my lights out. I complained again. They again did...nothing. Being a little tired of 3rd party terrorism, by CPS proxy, and considering that CPS had breeched each and every item on the foster care contract, I again said move my daughter or send her home and I'll simply call the police on her if she hits any of us again. I gave CPS notice I was terminating the contract for their breech. Guess what they did the next day? Yep, they posthumously terminated the contract for MY supposed breeches of contract - though they couldn't actually think of what those breeches were just at that moment, but never mind, they put the daughter in protective custody - you know, for... her... safety. And dragged me into Court with a petition full of false allegations of child abuse. I was in court from 09/21/2005 until 12/09/2005 being subjected to CPS petitions and reports full of perjuries, unsubstantiated and uncorroborated, overtly false and fabricated reports and allegations, their complete failure to disclose the enormous amount of exculpatory information they possessed and knew of in the reports or to the Judge, Julie Cain lied directly to the Judge. And then there were subsequent false allegations such as, I threatened to beat my daughter up, I tried to extort a written statement of my innocence from her. Now why would I do that when I had 5 witnesses all saying she was the attacker not me? I've complained at all local and state levels of the Calif. Dept. of Health & Social Services - they send my complaints back to the local office, where they are summarily dismissed by - yeah, uh huh, Gary Blatnick again. I've repeatedly complained in writing and verbally to the District attorney - no comment from them & I can't get a return phone call or a meeting. I've coplained to the Sheriff. They won't take any reports. Last time I tried after an especially ugly fit of perjury by the CPS worker in Court, a sergeant told me I was "cop shopping." And again refused to take a report about anything. I complained to the County Board of Supervisors about all this. They suggested I had serious problems and should work with my social worker to solve them. The the California Attorney General's Office and Department of Justice think I haven't exhausted and / or sufficiently documented having exhausted all of my local resources, so they won't do anything. Del Norte County CPS; Susan Wilson, Julie Cain, Richard Heuser (you pudgy oaf with anger management problems), Albert Raddi, Gary Blatnick, - you're the worst organized crime unit I've ever personally known of. SUSAN, It's ALL About Money!

Susan, if DHS can convince you to relinquish your parenting rights, they can adopt your daughter to someone of their choice. When she is adopted, California DHS will be given $10,000 BONUS MONEY because your daughter is more than twelve years old. And, if she is considered handicapped in any way, they'll get an additional $6,000 in Bonus Money. It does absolutely NO good to ask DHS for help. They WILL NOT help you or anyone else.. They only help themselves. They hire contractors to counsel parents but they will NOT tell you about them. You'll have to find those workshops on your own. Usually local guidance centers know how to locate the classes. If the two of you could have attended an Anger Management Course, this would likely not have happened. The grandmother probably need to attend, too. Susan, in October 2005, DHS agencies were paid more than $17 TRILLION dollars of Bonus Money for adopting children in 2004. They'll get $16,000 for adopting your daughter. They'll get that money one year after she is adopted. The adoptive parents will get Adoption Incentives of $1,000-2,000 Per Month until she is eighteen or twenty-two if she's still in school. IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY. Read the Adoptions and Safe Families Act of 1997. The BONUS MONEY comes, unlimited, from our Social Security Fund. That's why reports are out that our Social Security Fund will be broke by 2008. The ASFA is in effect through 2008. DHS will do nothing to help you with your daughter because it would mean they would not get the Bonus Money. Even if your daughter and you were to attend Anger Management Classes in a local center, those classes will NOT be acceptable to DHS. It's a NO WIN with DHS! Hopefully your daughter will realize what has happened to her growing up years when she has children of her own. Mother of Six Left California

I am a mother of six. Unfortunately, CPS especially in California feels they are God when it comes to protecting the actual 3% of truely abused children. Many families fall victim to their assumption of how a child should be diciplined. Interestling enough they do not. Now isn't that funny. I Turned the tables in my family as my kids were and are growing up oldest is 19 and 1/2. My kids were raised to fear CPS rather then me. I told them CPS would take them from me and I would not fight to get them back if they ever said that I abused them. Then I confirmed that with a back up and if you call them and lie I will beat the crap out of you and make it worth my while prior to my arrival. This has resulted in them never calling and one lie to them on one occasion. I had to fire an employee and his wife threatened me on the phone while I was working. She stated that she was going to get me back. Low and behold CPS at my door in two days. I had a habit of grabbing my sons ear to get his attention when he was out of control.I never spanked in public. The ear was to get his attention and that the bahavior was unacceptable. She told this to CPS. CPS told me that that was abuse. Give me a break. I showed my kids shows, talk shows, and movies of abuse. I told my son to lie to CPS to protect the parental control I had. He was about 7 years old and OMG a stinker to say the least. However, he did lie. He is now an adult and we laugh about it. I have moved into the state of Nevada and the rules are much different here. They do not want to deal with undicilined teenagers and therefore allow some pretty major parental control including, locing your children in their room, spanking, and CPS allowes bruises all over kids bodies and does nothing. I have pictures of an abused child here and CPS returned the child right back in the home. This is a extreme, but I have found the laws that protect our rights to dicipline unfortunately also place other children in danger 3% to be exact. The way I raised my children could be considered extreme or abusing, but I will tell you what my kids listen and they for the most part obey and they too are teaching their children that CPS is very horrible and will take them from the very thing they love so much and watch your children avoid them like the plague. My next suggestion is to get an attorney. That attorney will be able to win your case against the state. make sure you find a great civil attorney well informed of the CPS practises. At the very leaset get a consultation, usually these are free.On the other hand if it was my child I'd would walk away and never ever look back. Let them have her. She will crawl back eventually and you will have the great oppertunity at that time to tell her she is on her own, she might shock you and apologize and tell you she screwed up, but it will be up to you how you want to enter back into a relationship with her if at all. You gotta fight them

My daughter has a mental disability that makes it hard for her to verbally communicate with others. So when she made an off-the-cuff remark at school one day, I had to deal with Sacramento County CPS. I had a little advance warning, so I did some research... Firstly, most CPS agencies are "Black Boxes". Nobody knows what happens in them. We just see what goes in and what comes out. Secondly, the rate of injury and death due to abuse in foster homes is significantly higher that in the population as a whole. This is also true for sexual abuse. Third, CPS agencies get a free pass on criticism because "they're doing it to protect the children." You need to have some factoids ready to undercut the workers smug sense that they fight for children. Tell them the statistics. Educate them to the evils that the system perpetrates in the name of good. Finally, don't sign anything! Don't agree to anything! Make them prove their case based on what they have. Cooperation=Surrender. In my case they wanted me to take a drug test once a day for 120 days. I agreed to one, right then. They pushed for the daily testing, I told them to do their worst because I was not going to cooperate anymore, you can leave now thank you very much. I never heard from them again. Gary Blatnk or Blahnik, I'm not sure of the spelling, but how many of these guys can there be working for CPS in California? Check and see if he's from San Luis Obispo County. He left due to some sort of scandal. I know in my case, he allowed my son to be placed in a home where the foster parent let my son leave the home and run wild for three days while he lied to me and said he was at a ballgame. At the same time he was marking his meds (ritalin) as being given when they obviously weren't. Federal offense. But duh...it got sort of got swept under the rug. Maybe the sheriff got wind of it and dug it up again. Guess who got the @#$% end of the stick...moi. They did have to send my son back home though. Just as well, he was bored with his little foster escapade and he had worn out his welcome. Check into the archives of our local New Times and Telegraph Tribune.
