I have been having problems with Allied Interstate Calling my house for 2 Weeks Now. Usually once a day, but I have Never Picked Up the calls. It Always Says Blocked Call. I alway get the same Message... ( Please find time to return this important call to Allied Interstate. Our Reps are Avaliable to speak with you.... Our toll free Number is 1-866-235-0053) Thats all it ever is, Its always the same thing. Today I got 2 phone calls from Allied Interstate. I got Fed up with them and called it back. They said that they couldn't do anything intill I give them my phone Number. And I never will... The guy that I was talking to sounds like he is from Quik-E-mart. How Do I make these Calls quit? I dont have any debt. And even if I did I always make my payments and everything is on time. Im on the Do Not Call list, and even reput it on there to make sure it was there. Do I have to call them back and ask them why they are calling?? Do I need to know legal actions to make them Quit? Do I have to Give them my phone number?? Please help me In any way that you can.. First, understand what you are dealing with...

You listed Allied Interstate under the TELEMARKETERS category. They ARE NOT telemarketers. Allied Interstate is a DEBT COLLECTOR and DEBT BUYER. You need to get familiar with your rights under the law. Go to FTC.gov and read/print out the FDCPA. It is fairly short. Also go to and read up on Allied Interstate and get a bunch of good contact information too. All you need to do is send them a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS request as per your rights under federal law. Send it by certified mail, return reciept requested. Be sure to put the certified# on the letter itself. Keep a copy for your records. DO NOT EVER speak to ANY collector on the phone and NEVER give them ANY information. NONE!
