I had applied on-line for for a personal loan and due to my bad credit I was not approved. Several days later I received an email from a David Stanely with Nation Wide Capital Funding and was told that I had ebeen approved for a lona in th amount of $5,000.00. Mr. Stanley contacted me and explained the loan terms and due to my credit history I would need to secure my loan to protect their company. In order to receive the loan I would need to Western Union $550.00 to Andrea Hunt. Once the funds were received Mr. Stanley contacted me back to get my bank accoutn information so that the $5,000.00 could be wired to my account via a deposit to a local Bank of America in Newton, MA. I called customer service at Bank of America to verify that funds could be wired form one bank to another and they verified that this could be done...so at this point I was still convinced that my money would be wired to my account. I called again today and still no return call. I decided to research this company as well Mr. David Stanley and what did I find on Rip-off Report...but yey another individual that has been scammed by the same type of company just listed under another company name...and individual. I have contacted my bank and since funds were wired as cash I am not able to get my money back and I have to change my checking account. This has been a very expensive lesson for me as I needed a loan and defiently could not afford to get furtehr in the hole, especially right here at Christmas with two daugthers and a disabled husband.
